Many voice users prefer to use a wireless headset with Lydia® Voice in their day-to-day work. For many years, however, users of Bluetooth headsets had to contend with a number of shortcomings in terms of voice recognition quality. That is why EPG (Ehrhardt Partner Group) is expanding its voice logistics hardware portfolio with the launch of the Lydia® wireless headset HS01 BT, which runs on the Android operating system. This combination ensures extremely reliable transmission quality even without wires, delivering excellent voice recognition, maximum mobility and reliable performance in the voice process.

The level of voice recognition performance achieved with Bluetooth data transmission is now on a par with that offered by the wired variety.
To use the headset, customers need to have the Voxter® Elite + Android. The mobile voice computer runs on the Android Industrial + enterprise operating system, which has been optimised for industrial applications, complies with industrial standards and enables ultra-precise data transmission when using Bluetooth headsets. “With Voxter® Elite + Android and the Lydia® wireless headset, customers get a high-performance package that has been optimised for voice application right down to the tiniest detail. Now there’s nothing that stands in the way of using wireless headsets with our voice solution in day-to-day work,” adds Just.
Innovative design and outstanding performance
The Lydia® wireless headset features a modular and innovative hardware design. Electronic components, hygiene parts and headband are replaceable and adjustable, ensuring greater comfort through user preferences while also offering significant maintenance and cost optimisation. To minimise the time it takes to replace the batteries, the Lydia® wireless headset features a hot-swap battery. Offering a runtime of up to 16 hours, the battery can be replaced during operation – with no new pairing required.
The Lydia® wireless headset also meets the needs of companies looking for a reliable product that offers maximum flexibility and ergonomics in industrial settings. The headset features HD voice technology (broadband audio) and integrated advanced noise cancelling technology, guaranteeing excellent voice recognition. This ensures pleasant and trouble-free work, even in challenging noisy environments. The headset has a range of up to 10 metres from the paired device without any reduction in data transmission quality.
The result of all this is a product that enables staff to work at peak performance, even in challenging environments such as warehouses, production facilities or out in the open. The headset also features IP67 protection and is suitable for order-picking in freezing temperatures as low as - 40°C.
