Fast, straightforward and cost-efficient: With LYDIA™ Voice, Ehrhardt Partner Group is providing an easy route into the world of order picking and will in future offer the innovative voice solution in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) version. At LogiMAT 2022, an international trade fair taking place in Stuttgart from 31 May to 2 June, the logistics expert will be showcasing LYDIA Subscription, an all-in-one package consisting of software, hardware, cloud hosting and managed services. The latest generation of the mobile voice computer VOXTER™ will also be premièring at the trade fair in front of a large audience of industry professionals.
With the LYDIA Subscription model in the SaaS version, EPG is offering a highly flexible and scalable solution. The software is rented and hosted via the EPG cloud. This leads to transparency over costs due to fixed monthly payments as well as a quicker ROI, with initial investments being reduced considerably. The voice application can also be put into operation more quickly, offering yet more benefits for customers. The voice solution can be set up remotely in an easy and secure manner that conforms with the highest IT security standards. This helps to save valuable IT resources. “In LYDIA Subscription, we are offering an all-in-one package with guaranteed system availability that offers easy access into the world of voice-directed order management in a manner that is fast, cost-efficient and offers maximum flexibility,” explains Tim Just, CEO Voice Solutions at Ehrhardt Partner Group.
Available in two versions: cloud hosting or “on premises”
With the SaaS model for LYDIA Voice, EPG is offering a fully comprehensive service – from cloud-based facility and operation management, regular updates and release upgrades to remote technical support. EPG’s data centre is certified according to ISO/IC 27001 and SSAE18 SOC2, thus fulfilling the highest standards in terms of IT security and data protection.
Through LYDIA Care, EPG guarantees that the software is always up to date, ensuring optimum system performance and security. The service also includes a reliable backup and recovery function as well as performance analyses.
What’s more, EPG offers a solution for customers who would also like to use LYDIA Voice as a rental model but prefer to install it on their own servers. The LYDIA Subscription “on premises” version is an all-in-one package consisting of software, hardware and support, but unlike the SaaS model is installed on the customer’s server.
New VOXTER offers three times faster voice recognition
Regardless of which model customers ultimately opt for, EPG offers the perfect hardware for both versions. At LogiMAT, EPG will present the latest generation of the mobile voice computer VOXTER to a large audience of industry professionals. The VOXTER Vantage impresses with its low-maintenance design, enables three times faster voice recognition in comparison with its predecessor model, and is equipped with Android Industrial+. The enterprise operating system has been specially optimised for the VOXTER Vantage and LYDIA Voice and offers a modern, futureproof software ecosystem. Hardware and software work in perfect harmony. The innovative LYDIA Voice technology, which functions on the basis of neural networks and deep learning, is thus able to deliver maximum performance in combination with the VOXTER. The device is also included in the rental model for LYDIA Voice, and will be presented at LogiMAT together with the new software release LYDIA 9.
