With the Voxter® Scan+, the company will showcase a new generation of devices for its well-established bluetooth backhand scanner. Thanks to innovative features such as gesture recognition to activate the scanning process, the Voxter Scan+ now offers even greater ergonomic handling while also impressing with its particularly low-maintenance design. In combination with the Release Lydia® 8, users benefit from a strong all-round package. Visitors can also head to stand B71 in hall 8 to find out about the latest developments regarding the business analytics tool Lydia® Warehouse Intelligence (LWI). LWI identifies infrastructure weaknesses on the basis of process, user and device data, as well as monitoring performance and providing decision-making support for process optimisation.
An optimum integration of hardware and software: Lydia® 8 and the new Voxter® Scan+ make the perfect team for delivering maximum performance in the voice process. The combined use of both solutions offers customers a precisely tailored pick-by-voice application, ensuring they can work at a consistently high level of quality in the face of ever increasing demands. The possibility of operating the scanner by gesture recognition also allows for even greater ergonomic handling. An integrated position sensor automatically deactivates the trigger upon detecting motion, ensuring that no unwanted scans are performed. In addition, the Voxter® Scan+ adopts a low-maintenance design concept: the product does not feature any moving parts, which helps to reduce wear and tear and significantly increasing its lifespan. In combination with Lydia® 8, users benefit from even faster and more secure data collection in the voice process. The latest software generation works on the basis of neural networks and AI components, enhancing recognition by 25%. This means that the system recognises the voices of employees with different dialects and accents. Companies therefore have more flexibility to take on new employees or staff whose native language is different, particularly during seasonal business.
BI tool with voice recognition analysis
LWI is a BI tool developed by topsystem, complementing the entire range of Lydia® Voice hardware and software. It identifies weaknesses in the infrastructure for operating the voice solution on the basis of the accrued process, user and device data, while also monitoring picking process performance in real time and providing a platform for decisions regarding future optimisation on the basis of historical data. The BI tool now features, for example, word/phrase statistics, which can be used to significantly enhance voice recognition for individual employees. Furthermore, the LWI helps users gain a better overview of warehouse locations and even individual warehouse areas. Through a role management system, users obtain access to the exact location and warehouse data that is relevant for them.
